råttunge is an independent production company based in Malmö, Sweden, consisting of producer Annegret Kunath and writer/director Christofer Nilsson.

Their short film The Ballad, made together with OriGine Films (FR), was selected at Les Arcs, Uppsala ISFF, Aesthetica IFF, Tirana IFF, Edmonton IFF and Paris Courts Devant, among others. It’s now streaming on ARTE France and SVT.

Råttunge’s latest short Dancing Pigeons was selected for the 23/24 European Short Pitch program, and premiered winning the Audience Award at Uppsala International Short Film Festival. It is nominated for a Guldbagge (Swedish Academy Award) for Best Short Film 2026.

A feature, APOTEOS, is in development, funded by Moving Sweden, Film in Skåne and Region Halland. The project has been selected for Torino Film Lab Next Feature, Pustnik, Tallin Black Nights Discovery Campus and the regional first feature program.
